Automated import works similarly to manual import but runs in the background without manual steps.

- Set up your file paths for automatic import in **Administration > Settings > Import / APIs**
- planeus checks those folders for new files and imports them automatically.

# Automatic Export of Feedback

planeus can automatically export feedback data to files. You can set up export paths under **Administration > Settings > Import / APIs**.

# Handling Changed Delivery Dates

There’s an option called **“Changed delivery dates trigger rescheduling”.**

- If you enable this, planeus automatically removes order items from the schedule if their delivery date changes during a new import.
- You’ll find this setting under **Administration > Settings > Import / APIs**.

This works for:

- Manual imports
- Automatic imports
- Imports via existing standardized APIs

# Updating Existing Data 

When you import updated data for items that already exist in planeus, the system will overwrite the old data with the new values.

In Planning Object, you can view these changes via **Modification History **so you can see what was updated.

# Email Notifications for Import/Export Errors

If errors happen during automatic import or export, planeus can send email alerts to a contact person and a backup contact. You can set this up under **Administration > Settings > Import / APIs**

Under **Administration > Settings**, you can configure:

- Whether changed delivery dates should automatically trigger rescheduling
- Email notifications for import errors

For some standardized integrations (e.g., weclapp), some special configurations are required. Contact your planeus consultant for help.
