planeus includes a built-in messaging feature, so you can **easily communicate with other users right inside the system.**

# Notifications for New Messages

- You’ll see a **bell icon** showing the number of unread messages you have.

# Managing Your Messages

- Click the **three-dot menu** to:
  - Mute notifications for your messages.
  - Mark all messages as **read**.

Click the message icon to mark a message as **unread** again if you want to come back to it later.

# Linking messages to info 

hen you create a new message:

- planeus automatically includes a **link to the data object** (like a specific project, order, or work step) that you currently have open in the same browser tab.

This makes it easy for the message receiver to **jump straight to the right place** in the system.

# Message Statuses in planeus 

Here’s what the different message icons and statuses mean in planeus:
