learn from your past to improve the future reporting helps you see how your production really worked, spot trends, and identify areas for improvement by comparing real historical data to your past production plan, you can know how effective your past decision was, make smarter decisions and keep your operations running smoothly what can you see in reporting? you’ll find all reports under the reports section in the main menu depending on your licenses, you can access a range of reports like report what it shows process feedback lists feedback for processes work step feedback lists feedback for work steps material demand (detailed) detailed list of materials needed for all orders items and work steps material demand (grouped) groups material needs by type disruptions / machines chart showing which disruption happened on which machine machines / disruptions chart showing which machine experienced which disruption planned vs actual times (processes) compares planned times for processes with actual times from feedback planned vs actual times (work steps) compares planned times for work steps with actual times from feedback capacity utilization graph showing how busy resources were versus their availability over time overall equipment effectiveness (oee) measures how effectively a resource was used, factoring in availability, performance, and quality scrap reasons / machine chart showing scrap reasons linked to specific machines machine / scrap reasons chart showing machines and the types of rejected scrap they produced daily resource availability shows where resources had overcapacity or undercapacity each day schedule adherence measures how closely actual completion dates matched planned delivery dates process efficiency compares total run times of work steps against the entire production order duration organizing your reports you can group your reports into tabs on the start page for easier access click the plus (+) icon enter a name for your new tab add the reports you want to keep handy helpful features in reporting planeus makes it simple to customize and work with your reports here’s what you can do change time units click the gear icon to adjust how time units appear in your reports (minutes, hours, etc ) show sums click the sum icon to display a row of totals above your report list totals reflect whatever data is visible after applying filters export your reports click the export button in the upper right corner of any report export data as a csv file or save charts as png images pro tip for the best results when exporting to excel, make sure planeus, your operating system, and excel itself are set to the same language what kind of reports are there? here’s how some important reports calculate their results report daily resource availability shows where your resources have too much or too little capacity on each day to use this report, you need to first enable it for the resource under resource master data you also need to set a capacity factor for accurate calculations calculation \text{available capacity} = \bigl( \text{available min } \text{scheduled min } \bigr) \times \text{capacity factor} color codes negative times are shown in red red values over 10 hours are shown in green green for example available capacity 8 hours already scheduled 1 hour capacity factor 4 (8 1) \times 4 = 28 \quad \\\\\\\ \text{total capacity} = 8 \times 4 = 32 report schedule adherence (historical) helps track whether work was completed on time for order items measures the date an order was marked “completed” against its planned delivery date → if finished early, the deviation will be in 0 for work steps measures the completion date against the planned end date tolerance settings in settings docid\ mcscw6cemmikvg wspxzv , you can define a time tolerance (in hours) orders or work steps completed within this tolerance are marked “on time ” the deviation value remains unchanged, but green green = on time red red = late report process efficiency (historical) compares the total run time of all work steps with the total run time of the full production order report capacity utilization (historical) this report is based on the actual data collected from workbench in this report, there are three options to measure utilization 24 hour basis (default) compares actual hours worked each day against 24 hours for weeks, total hours divided by (24 x 7) available capacities uses each resource’s defined shift plans absolute hours shows raw hour totals instead of percentages for example date hours worked june 2 10 hours june 3 12 hours june 4 16 hours june 7 8 hours using the different calculation methods, here’s how the values compare date absolute hours % of 24 hours % of available capacity (example shifts) wed, june 2 10 10/24 = 41% 10/12 = 83% thu, june 3 12 12/24 = 50% 12/12 = 100% fri, june 4 16 16/24 = 67% 16/10= 160% mon, june 7 8 8/24 = 33% 8/12 = 67% for june 2 (shift plan = 12 hours) 10/24 = 41% utilization (24 hour method) 10/12 = 83% utilization (shift plan method) stunden absolut 24 stunden verfügbare kapazität mittwoch 2 6 10 10/24 = 41% 10/12 = 83% donnerstag 3 6 12 12/24 = 50% 12/12 = 100% freitag 4 6 16 16/24 = 67% 16/10= 160% montag 7 6 8 8/24 = 33% 8/12 = 67% the calculation for available capacity comes from the resource’s pre defined capacity plan (shift plan) if a resource has a 12 hour shift, that becomes the capacity baseline for percentage calculations the report shown in chart form available capacities overall equipment effectiveness (oee) oee ist immer eine historische betrachtung der daten oee = verfügbarkeitsfaktor x leistungsfaktor x qualitätsfaktor der verfügbarkeitsfaktor betrachtet die nutzung (zeit) der leistungsfaktor betrachtet die ausbringungsrate (menge) der qualitätsfaktor betrachtet die qualitätsgüte im menüpunkt settings docid\ mcscw6cemmikvg wspxzv können verschiedene optionen für die berechnung eingestellt werden overall equipment effectiveness (oee) oee (overall equipment effectiveness) is a way to analyze past performance and see how efficiently your machines or resources were used it’s calculated as oee = \text{availability factor} × \text{performance factor} × \text{quality factor} availability factor (time utilization) you can choose between two ways to calculate available capacity option 1 — gross available c apacity (24/7) assumes your resource is available 100% of the time , 24 hours a day, 7 days a week does not subtract downtime like gaps, holidays, or planned maintenance option 2 — net available capacity starts with the full 24 hours per day, then subtracts downtime from capacity plans public holidays non informative gaps (planned but minor downtimes) \textbf{availability factor} \= \dfrac{ \raisebox{5pt}{\text{operating time}} }{ \text{available capacity}\rule{0pt}{13pt} } where operating time = available capacity (from option 1 or 2) minus downtime from disruptions performance factor (speed of production) tells you how efficiently your resource was running in terms of speed and output calculation \begin{array}{r l} & \text{yield time} \\\\ \+ & \text{setup time} \\\\ \ & \text{downtime from disruptions} \\\\ \ & \text{time spent on scrap production} \\\ \hline & \text{effective time}\rule{0pt}{13pt} \end{array} then \textbf{performance factor} \= \dfrac{ \raisebox{5pt}{\text{effective time}} }{ \text{available capacity}\rule{0pt}{13pt} } quality factor (quality of products) shows what portion of your production was in good quality versus rejected scrap calculation \text{total quantity} = \text{yield quantity} + \text{scrap quantity} \textbf{quality factor} \= \dfrac{ \raisebox{5pt}{\text{yield quantity}} }{ \text{total quantity}\rule{0pt}{13pt} } putting it all together hence, the final oee score is calculated as oee = \textbf {availability factor} × \textbf{performance factor} × \textbf{quality factor} a high oee means your machines are running reliably, fast, and producing good quality products reporting plugin planeus also offers a reporting plugin that lets you create custom reports tailored to your needs—without waiting for a new software release from simple lists of feedback to complex charts like oee or capacity utilization, planeus reporting helps you analyze past performance and understand how your production really ran
