coloring work steps by article in planeus, you can customize how work steps appear in the gantt chart using color coding how to set up color coding go to administration > settings , where you can choose color by resource groups (default option) color by articles coloring by articles if you choose color by articles a new option will appear in the article master data or directly in the order item you can assign a specific color to each article planeus will then show all work steps in the gantt chart in the color of their assigned article or order item this makes it easy to quickly spot which tasks belong to which product assigning employees to a work step in the manufacturing plan view open the detail panel for a work step you can assign one or more employees to that work step why assign employees? becasue you can filter work steps by employee names in the workbench this helps staff see only the tasks assigned to them , improving focus and clarity adding note in a work step you can add comments or notes to any work step click the three dot button in the detail view, them select create description type your note in the field your description will be shown in the detail panel sharing your note to your operators at the same time, your note will be shared directly to the workbench for your operators to see when working on that work step planeus makes it easy to color code, assign people, and keep notes , so your planning stays organized and visually clear!
