Splitting Orders

the split order items feature in planeus lets you divide one order item into several smaller parts this can be very useful if you want to produce or deliver parts of an order separately how splitting orders works? to split an order item, it must be in the “not scheduled” status in the detail panel , click the split button this splits the original order item (called the “parent order item” ) into new, smaller items called “child order items ” special icons for split order items for split order items, they will have their own icons when viewing from the order items list you can easily identify these in order items , plan them individually and filter them in one go adding child order items in the split form, you can create multiple child orders the remaining quantity is shown in the lower left corner it’s possible for the remaining quantity to go negative if you assign more to the child items than the original quantity in the parent important notes parent order items can no longer be scheduled after splitting the child order items work just like normal order items you can schedule them you can edit them you can track them separately
